DPIIT to unveil QCO framework for semiconductor, deeptech firms in 2-3 months

India's Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) plans to release guidelines and policies within 2–3 months to address Quality Control Orders issues faced by semiconductor and deeptech manufacturers. Deputy Minister Sumit Jarangal cited a company with about 1400 interchangeable components under BIS requirements.
