Cyberattack takes down Belgian tax portal ahead of filing deadline

Belgium's finance ministry has taken its main online tax portal MyMinfin offline after a cyberattack, days before an October 31 filing deadline for certain income. The agency said there is no indication of a data breach and promised affected taxpayers more time to file. No one has claimed responsibility.
