Deepgram acquires Daily, maker of open-source voice AI framework Pipecat

Deepgram said it is acquiring Daily, the company behind the open-source Pipecat framework for real-time voice AI. The deal amount was not disclosed, and Pipecat will remain open-source and vendor-neutral. Daily had raised over $62 million, while Deepgram reached unicorn status this year with a $130 million Series C.
