Seattle voice AI startup Ultravox acquired by Inworld
Inworld has acquired Seattle-based voice AI startup Ultravox, formerly known as Fixie, for an undisclosed sum. Ultravox built a speech model for real-time, natural-sounding AI voice agents. Its turn-taking and interruption technology will be folded into Inworld's Realtime TTS-2, and Ultravox customers will be migrated to it.
