Renault and Citroën bet on retro design against Chinese rivals

Renault and Citroën are rolling out EVs styled after their iconic models, including the R5, R4, Twingo and a 2 CV concept. The Renault 5 E-Tech was Europe's best-selling small EV in the first half of 2026, while a production 2 CV is due by 2028 from around €15,000.
