Meta gives five US universities AI models and funding for medical research

Meta expanded an AI program to support five US universities: Caltech, Ohio State, LSU, Indiana University and UTHealth Houston. Researchers will get model access, funding and direct help from Meta engineers; the company did not disclose a dollar figure.
