Gizmodo: touchscreen macOS feels closer to iPhone than Windows 8

Gizmodo's hands-on finds touch input in macOS Golden Gate on the MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display mirrors iPhone and iPad gestures rather than Windows 8's tile interface. Safari supports pull-to-refresh, tab dragging and pinch-to-zoom, while Dynamic Island shows Live Activities. The screen still wobbles noticeably when tapped.

• The touchscreen MacBook Pro is Apple's first laptop with a touch display
• Safari gains pull-to-refresh, tab dragging and pinch-to-zoom
• Dynamic Island on Mac shows Live Activities and music controls
• The display still wobbles noticeably under touch input
