macOS 27.2 beta 3 hints at imminent touchscreen MacBook Pro

The third macOS 27.2 beta adds a long-press animation for Dock icons that mirrors iOS and iPadOS behavior. It follows Mark Gurman's report that a touchscreen MacBook Pro will arrive by the end of the year, significantly lighter than the current model, with tandem OLED and Dynamic Island.

• macOS 27.2 beta 3 makes Dock icons enlarge on long press, like in iOS
• Gurman: touchscreen MacBook Pro arrives by year-end, significantly lighter than M5 model
• The laptop will keep the M5 chip rather than a new M-series version
• macOS Golden Gate will add touch support and Dynamic Island in tandem OLED
