Enact Intelligence raises $30M to turn every robot motor into a force sensor

Zurich-based Enact Intelligence emerged from stealth with $30 million in pre-seed funding, reported as the largest pre-seed round in Swiss history. The startup reads contact forces from actuator-current signals, making every motor in a robot a force sensor without external tactile hardware. redalpine, Notion Capital and firstminute capital led the round, with angels including Yann LeCun and Arthur Mensch.
