Final Fantasy VII Revelation Limits 3-Character Synergy Abilities to Cinematic Scenarios

Director Naoki Hamaguchi said Final Fantasy VII Revelation's three-person Synergy Abilities will only be usable in key cinematic story moments to keep combat from becoming monotonous. He declined to confirm whether Aerith will be a playable party member. The game launches April 8 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2.
