BAE Systems tests deck-mounted ADL launcher for US Navy

BAE Systems completed the first live-fire demonstration of its Adaptable Deck Launcher (ADL) in California on October 27, 2026. The deck-mounted system reuses Mk 41 VLS architecture and accepts ESSM Mk 25 quad-pack canisters, letting warships reload missiles without returning to port.
