BAE Systems to equip new F-35s with AN/ASQ-239 electronic warfare suite

Lockheed Martin has ordered BAE Systems' AN/ASQ-239 electronic warfare systems for three upcoming F-35 batches (Lots 20–22) plus retrofits for aircraft already in service. The suite provides a 360-degree view of the electromagnetic battlespace and can be updated via software.
