IBM links quantum chips with 'quantum channels' at 99% fidelity
IBM has connected two 120-qubit superconducting chips using four quantum channels — 31.5-inch superconducting cables — with an average transfer fidelity of 99%. The links survived three warm-up and cool-down cycles and transmitted entanglement between the chips.
