Coucou puts Claude Code permission prompts in the Mac notch and on Lock Screen
Open-source Coucou (MIT) surfaces Claude Code and other coding-agent permission requests in the MacBook notch with Allow, Deny and Always buttons, and on the iPhone Lock Screen. Version 0.4 adds its own window, Flow dictation and call recording with transcription via Claude or Apple Intelligence.
- Supports Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI and others
- The notch shows file edits with line counts and a full diff
- Flow dictation runs offline on the Neural Engine, about 650 MB download
- Code is MIT licensed, but the Coucou name, Mochi and sounds stay copyrighted
