T-Mobile US tests physical AI at the network edge with Figure AI

T-Mobile US is testing whether running some humanoid robot AI on its network edge can speed response times and reduce reliance on onboard computers. Partners include Figure AI, AWS, Serve Robotics, Nvidia, Nokia and Ericsson, plus a San Jose traffic pilot combining views from separate 5G cameras.
