AWS launches open Physical AI Toolchain for robots

AWS introduced an open-source development stack that combines cloud, simulation and AI tools to help companies build and deploy robots. The Physical AI Toolchain integrates AWS services with NVIDIA's robotics software and draws on Amazon's fleet of more than 1 million robots.

• The stack covers five stages: synthetic data, training, simulation, edge deployment and continuous improvement
• It uses Amazon SageMaker, EC2 GPU instances, IoT Greengrass and Bedrock AgentCore
• NVIDIA integration includes Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Isaac GR00T and Cosmos
• Amazon's robotics fleet exceeds 1 million machines
