Windows 11 Insider build adds Microsoft 365 billing button to Start

Microsoft is testing a Windows 11 control that re-enables recurring billing for Microsoft 365 subscribers without opening a browser. The option appears in build 26340.9767 of the Insider Experimental Preview channel, released October 23, 2026. There is no matching in-Windows control for cancelling a subscription or changing plans.

• The "Turn on recurring billing" button appears in Start, Settings Home and the Accounts page
• The test ships in build 26340.9767 on Windows 11 26H2 via an enablement package
• No built-in option to cancel or switch Microsoft 365 plans from Windows
• The same build adds an internet speed test in Quick Settings and a Feature flags filter
