Ford Fathom packs onboard inverter for home backup power

Ford's $28,000 Fathom electric pickup will include an onboard inverter delivering over 10 kW of AC power for bidirectional charging. Ford aims to cut the cost of its home power station by 50% and a whole-home backup bundle by roughly 40%.
