Reviews of $299 Apple TV 4K praise hands-free Siri but question the price

Apple's fourth-generation Apple TV 4K ships November 13, 2026, at $299, more than double the 2022 model's price. Reviewers at The Verge, CNET and Engadget welcome the A19 chip, three far-field mics for hands-free Siri, Wi-Fi 7 and AV1 decoding, but say the price is hard to justify and note the lack of 4K/120Hz output and HDMI input.

• A19 chip: up to 50% faster CPU and 2x GPU versus A15 Bionic
• $299 price versus $149 for the 2022 model; 64GB version dropped
• Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Gigabit Ethernet and an AV1 decoder
• No 4K/120Hz output, HDMI input or optical audio out
