New Apple TV 4K Adds Far-Field Microphones for Hands-Free Siri

Apple's fourth-generation Apple TV 4K packs three built-in far-field microphones, letting users control Siri without the remote. The A19 chip's Secure Exclaves process microphone data separately from the rest of the system. Preorders are open at $299, with availability starting November 13.

• Three far-field microphones activate Siri via "Hey Siri" or "Siri"
• Echo cancellation separates the user's voice from TV audio
• Secure Exclaves on the A19 chip isolate microphone data processing
• Support varies by region and tvOS language, including English, Mandarin, French and German
