Dell XPS Googlebook review: solid hardware, but Googlebook OS feels like a beta

The $999 Dell XPS Googlebook (Snapdragon X Elite, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 13.4-inch 2560×1600 IPS display) nails the hardware, but Googlebook OS shipped with bugs and is incompatible with Samsung phones on Android 17. Phone app mirroring is noticeably laggy, and Google services in the dock are just Chrome windows.

• $999 for the 16GB RAM / 512GB SSD Snapdragon X Elite model
• 13.4-inch 2560×1600 IPS display with anti-glare layer and 500-nit peak
• Googlebook OS is incompatible with Samsung on Android 17; mirroring lags
• Only two USB4 ports, 65W USB-C charging
