Rivian jumps to second place in U.S. EV sales

Rivian sold 41,009 EVs in the U.S. through the first three quarters of 2026, up 26.8% year over year, overtaking Hyundai's 39,121 units. Commercial vans reached 8,469 sales in Q3, a 220.9% jump, while Tesla stayed far ahead with 386,194 vehicles year to date.
