SnowX SnowPod brings desktop metal 3D printing for $5,299

At TCT Shenzhen, SnowX demonstrated a working desktop SLM printer, the SnowPod, in a 360×360×660 mm, 40 kg enclosure. It offers an 80×80×100 mm build volume, a 200 W laser, 30–60 µm layers and roughly ±0.05 mm accuracy, priced at $5,299 on Kickstarter with 316L stainless steel only at launch.
