Study: ChatGPT Builds Detailed Psychological Profiles of Users

Researchers from Germany, India and the Netherlands analyzed chat logs from 80 ChatGPT users and found 2,050 memory entries across 65 of them. 96% of memories were created unilaterally by the chatbot, 28% contained GDPR-defined personal data and 52% held psychological insights about users.
