EPYC 9996 on Zen 6c beats Zen 5 by 16.5% in single-core

In Geekbench 7.1.0 the 256-core EPYC 9996 scored 2,847 single-core points, while a Ryzen 7 9700X locked to the same 4.1 GHz boost scored 2,444. That suggests roughly 16.5% higher per-clock performance for the dense Zen 6c cores, though the server-versus-desktop comparison is far from clean.
