Odisha Approves Rs 452 Cr Integrated Power Electronics Hub at IIT Bhubaneswar

Authorities in the Indian state of Odisha approved the creation of a National Integrated Power Electronics Hub at IIT Bhubaneswar worth Rs 452 crore. The project is funded by MeitY, the state government, ANRF and industry partners; a total of five semiconductor projects worth Rs 10,899 crore have been approved in the state.

• Hub to be created under Indian Design, Semiconductors, Packaging and Systems program
• Five approved projects will create 4,500 direct and 16,000 indirect jobs
• State to add up to 25% capex for India Semiconductor Mission projects
