Corsair RM1200e PSU Adds Per-Pin Protection for 12V-2x6 Connectors

Corsair has launched the RM1200e, a 1200W power supply with PinProtect per-pin overcurrent protection that monitors current on each of the six 12V pins in the 12V-2x6 connector. If a pin draws too much current, the PSU cuts power and temporarily shuts down the GPU to prevent connector melting. It costs $204 and ships with a 10-year warranty.
