Paravision launches ISO/ICAO face image quality suite

Paravision has released the ISO/ICAO Image Quality Suite, software that scores portrait images against ISO/IEC 19794-5, ISO/IEC 39794-5 and ICAO Doc 9303 requirements. It returns an overall pass or fail plus the underlying measurements, with thresholds configurable per check.

• Checks cover framing, pose and gaze, lighting, expression, face visibility and background
• Thresholds can be set per criterion for each deployment
• The suite works alongside Paravision's deepfake and presentation attack detection
• Paravision supports the UK ETA scheme and Dubai's Red Carpet Smart Corridor
