Phantom Blade Zero hits 500,000 Steam pre-orders before launch

Chinese action game Phantom Blade Zero has reportedly sold around 500,000 copies on Steam through pre-orders, generating roughly $24m ahead of its 28th October release. Analyst Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics says it is outperforming Gears of War: E-Day and Control Resonant on Steam, with China its top market.
