Sigma announces 50mm f/1.4 CL DG with retro design

Sigma unveiled the full-frame 50mm f/1.4 CL DG Contemporary in its I Series, featuring an all-metal body, focus and aperture rings, and a vintage-style depth-of-field scale. A new circular RDD linear motor keeps autofocus fast despite the compact size, and the lens is dust- and splash-resistant. Pricing and ship date are not final; it is expected in early spring 2027 for Sony E and Leica L mounts.
