New TACLS System Uses GNSS and Machine Learning to Predict Flash Floods

TACLS, developed by UCSD, NWS, and NASA, uses GNSS satellite data and machine learning to identify flash flood risk zones and help NWS issue faster warnings. It currently operates only in California and will later expand to all 122 NWS offices.
