YouTube removes Subscriptions tab from bottom bar on Android and iOS

YouTube redesigned its mobile apps, moving the Subscriptions tab from the bottom bar to the top bar after Home and adding dedicated Live, Music and Movies & TV feeds. It also launched custom feeds described in natural language, with up to 3 saved feeds for free users and 8 for Premium members.

• Subscriptions sat in the bottom bar since 2017 and now moves to the top bar
• Custom feeds are created from a text prompt and sync with the web version
• Free users can save up to 3 custom feeds, Premium members up to 8
• The rollout starts in the U.S. in English for signed-in viewers
