Rhode Island sues Meta over its handling of scam ads

Rhode Island Attorney General Peter F. Neronha filed a lawsuit accusing Meta of not doing enough to stop fraudulent ads and profiting from them. It is the first state suit on the issue; Meta says it has removed more than 159 million scam ads.
