Switch 2 price hike barely moves US spending: average up just 2%

Circana data shows the average US price paid for a Nintendo Switch 2 was $498 in September 2026, up only 2% from $486 a year earlier despite a $50 price increase. The flat figure comes from Nintendo dropping the Mario Kart World bundle for a standalone console. By contrast, average PS5 spending rose 17% to $646 and Xbox 33% to $663.
