Next-gen BYD Seagull unveiled with 5-minute charging and more space

BYD has unveiled the next-generation Seagull compact EV, which is 16.7 inches longer, gains a 5.9-inch longer wheelbase and 3.5 inches of extra width, and adds a 3.3-cubic-foot frunk. Battery options of 30.1 and 39.2 kWh deliver up to 420 km of CLTC range, while ultra-fast charging takes the pack from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes and to 97% in 9 minutes.
