T-Mobile to pay over $38M for breaking New York price guarantee

New York's attorney general found T-Mobile raised prices on its 2017 Price Guarantee plans, citing fine print. About 252,957 affected New Yorkers can get a final-month refund plus a $25 gift card, a free 5G phone worth up to $250, or a $150 discount. Reimbursements and a $98,000 fine will cost T-Mobile more than $38 million.
