SISU Escalate battery-hydrogen hybrid truck to start freight runs in Finland

VTT said the 68-ton SISU Escalate, with a 650 kWh battery and a 120 kW hydrogen fuel cell, will begin regular freight operations in Finland in late 2026. The truck will be monitored for six months on a 540 km route between Vuosaari harbour and Jyväskylä.
