Poll: 57% of Americans Say AI Is Bad for Society

An ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll found that 57% of Americans consider AI bad for society, 66% oppose new data centers in the US and 72% oppose them in their own community. 67% say the government is not doing enough to regulate AI. Experts expect AI and data centers to influence the midterm elections on Nov. 3.
