Stripe opens Treasury to AI agents via MCP server

Stripe launched Treasury for agents on October 21, 2026, letting startups manage finances through AI agents such as ChatGPT and Claude connected to a Stripe Treasury account via its MCP server. The public preview exposes 5 tools — 1 read and 4 that move money — and by default every live money movement needs review and approval.
