Audit of 49 payment MCP servers: 37 can move money, only 4 document a spending budget

A census by Pink Agentic AI Payments reviewed 49 payment-adjacent MCP servers: 37 (76%) can move money, but only 4 (11%) document a configurable spending budget, 6 (16%) a human-approval step and 1 (3%) a velocity limit. A companion survey of 12 agent frameworks found none document a currency budget for tool calls.
