Atlassian: 95% of developers use AI, but time savings are shrinking

Atlassian's State of Developer Experience 2026 survey found over 95% of developers use AI tools, with 87% saying it helps them ship faster. Yet the share saving 10 or more hours weekly fell from 68% in 2025 to 26% in 2026, and 72% report the same or more friction than before AI.
