NVIDIA expands open-model portfolio for European sovereign AI
NVIDIA on October 21, 2026 expanded its family of open models spanning language, robotics, biology and quantum computing, positioned around Europe's sovereign intelligence. The portfolio includes Nemotron 3.5 Super VL and Bolt, Nemotron Retriever, the Kumo family for structured business data, Cosmos 3.5, Alpamayo 2 Edge for autonomous vehicles, BioNeMo and Ising for quantum computing.
- Nemotron 3.5 Super VL has 120B parameters; Bolt runs locally at the edge
- Kumo predicts outcomes and fraud risk without a separate ML pipeline
- RFD4-Proteina generates proteins about 13x faster than RFdiffusion3
