European tech funding rebounds to €27.8B in Q3 2026

European tech companies raised €27.8 billion across 732 deals in Q3 2026, up 32.4% from €21 billion a year earlier. Five rounds topped €1 billion, including Mistral AI (€3 billion), Nscale (about €6.3 billion across three rounds), Helsing (€1.58 billion) and Quantum Systems (€1.05 billion).

• Funding rose 32.4% year over year and more than 2.5x versus Q3 2024
• Nscale raised roughly €6.3 billion across three Q3 rounds
• UK companies took nearly €12 billion, about 43% of the total
• AI and cloud together drew over €13 billion, around 47% of capital
