Incheon completes UAM demonstration flight between Yeongjongdo and Deokjeokdo

Incheon authorities and the K-UAM One Team (KT, Korean Air, Hyundai E&C, Hyundai Motor, Incheon Airport) flew a UAM demonstration using a helicopter between Yeongjongdo and Deokjeokdo island. The test linked the city's UAM platform with a national traffic management system to check flight, traffic, vertiport and communications functions.

• Flight covered the route from Geojampo and Wangsan Marina on Yeongjongdo to Deokjeokdo
• KT, Korean Air, Hyundai E&C, Hyundai Motor and Incheon Airport took part
• Flight, traffic, vertiport and real-time data sharing were tested
• Goal is public services for medical and emergency trips of island residents
