DeepSeek opens Search API to outside developers with SEO spam filtering

DeepSeek has opened two APIs to third-party developers: Search for web queries returning JSON and Fetch for retrieving pages as Markdown. The service filters manipulated SEO, GEO gaming and low-quality AIGC content, and results carry rerank_score (0–3) and authority (0–4) ratings.

Rate limits: Search at 100 requests/s, Fetch at 25 requests/s per account
rerank_score of 1.5+ and authority of 3+ mark high-quality results
Calls via server-side tools in Harness, Claude Code and Codex become paid from November 1, 2026
