Samsung brings AirDrop support to Galaxy A56 with One UI 9

Samsung's One UI 9 update adds a "Share with Apple devices" option to Quick Share on the Galaxy A56, enabling direct local transfers to iPhone, iPad and Mac over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth without compression. The feature previously debuted on the Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy S25 FE.

• Transfers run locally over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, no cloud or compression
• Receiving Apple device must set AirDrop visibility to Everyone
• Speeds may lag Samsung-to-Samsung transfers and Wi-Fi can briefly drop
