Amadeus to supply UK contactless biometric border gates

Amadeus has been named supplier of contactless biometric eGates that let travellers returning to the UK clear border checks without showing a passport. Seamless Gates already run at East Midlands Airport, with Birmingham and 11 other international airports next; all eGates under the Home Office and Border Force contract will be upgraded by early 2027.
