Coinbase and Thunes Bring USDC Payouts to M-Pesa and GCash

Coinbase and Thunes unveiled a partnership at Money20/20 USA that routes USDC on Base in seconds to over 12 billion wallets and accounts across 140 countries, including GCash, M-Pesa, Alipay and WeChat Pay. A $200 USDC transfer on Base costs about $0.31 versus $5.02 on Ethereum, and a single USDC balance replaces pre-funded accounts in each market.
