Adobe Lightroom mobile can now open closed eyes with a single tap
Adobe added an Open Eyes Quick Action to Lightroom for iOS, iPadOS and Android that uses generative AI to open closed eyes in photos with one tap. The replacement matches lighting and pose and uses other photos of the same person in the user's library as reference. Free users get two tries before being prompted to subscribe to Creative Cloud.
- The tool appears automatically when the app detects closed eyes in a photo
- Generative AI matches eyes to lighting, pose, color and size using other library photos
- Free users get two attempts before a Creative Cloud subscription prompt
- Photoshop Elements has offered a similar fix for nearly a decade using another photo
