Surface Laptop Ultra with RTX Spark tested: weak CPU, strong GPU

The $2,599–$5,899 Surface Laptop Ultra pairs Nvidia's N1X RTX Spark chip with Windows on Arm, delivering strong graphics and about 10 hours of battery life but single-core CPU performance roughly half that of Apple's M6. Adobe Premiere runs only in beta, and some apps still need emulation.

• Pricing runs from $2,599 to $5,899.99 for the top model
• N1X single-core score of 96 versus 220 for Apple M6
• About 10 hours of battery life in an office-work benchmark
• Premiere needs a beta build; ComfyUI supports RTX Spark
